Summer Camps!

Little Learners offers Summer Camps each year based on demand. Each camp week has a theme. Your child can attend a week at a time, register for a 3-week session, or for all 6 weeks.

Our 2011 Summer Camps included:

Themes:		When:
	Dinosaurs Land Before Time
	We will get to be Paleontologists and discover these extinct creatures of long ago, dig for fossils and even meet a "Real Paleontologist"!	Weeks 1 & 4
	Around The World
	How fun to "travel" the globe as we learn all about different cultures of the world and eat new foods each day from a new country. We will also get to learn Karate on our Asian day with a trip next door to Tae Kwon Do!	Weeks 2 & 5
	Cowboys & The Old West
	This was a hit last year as our day campers got to make a cowboy hat, ride a horse, pan for gold, and even get put on a "Wanted Poster" Yee Haw!	Weeks 3 & 6
	Princess & Knights
	We are making this camp even better by adding Knights to our Princess theme! We will learn all about Medieval times. A real princess and knight will visit. We will learn about chivalry and how to be a princess or a knight. It is sure to be a Royal affair with a "Grand Ball" at the end of the week!	Weeks 1 & 4
	Cooking, In the kitchen
	What child doesn't love cooking in the kitchen? We will learn all about the basics of cooking, making master pieces each day. We will learn about nutrition and even counting money as we learn how to grocery shop. We will get to prepare a meal for our parents at this weeks end. YUM!!	Weeks 2 & 5
	Mad Science
	Calling all young scientists! This week will be full of experiments. How to make slime and play dough. Each student will create their own Volcano and we will have them erupt after we learn about cause and effect of mixing chemicals. Simply fascinating, the world of science!	Weeks 3 & 6

Enrollment / Attendance
Our Summer camps offer so much for your child. Your child may attend by the week, by the 3-week session, or for all 6 weeks.

There are two, separate half-day tracks each day:
Morning track = AM 9:00-12:00
Afternoon Session PM- 12:30 to 3:30

Or you may choose both sessions for your child and go all day. 9 to 3:30

Tuition
Summer Camp curriculum and pricing for Summer 2012 has not yet been announced. There is generally a registration fee (for supplies) and a tuition price based on how many classes you register for. Discounts are offered for full sessions and multiple children from the same household.

They will get days full of exciting learning adventures wrapped around a super fun theme. Each week is Monday thru Thursday, with a suggested activity for you to do with your child on Friday.

If you want your child to benefit from all the themes, you can either choose a full-day (both AM and PM) for either 3-week session, or a half-day (either AM or PM) for the full 6 weeks.

All classes will be limited to 8 students and will run contingent to enrollment. Nice SMALL classes for hands on learning!
